Relax The Back is planning to open a new store in the Shops at Congressional shopping center in Rockville, according to The MoCo Show.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Relax The Back, a store that provides products to help in the relief and prevention of back pain, is planning to open a new store in the Shops at Congressional shopping center, according to a report.
Relax The Back, the chain’s first location in the Washington, D.C., area, will be located at 1701 Rockville Pike, where the Healthy Back store used to be before it closed last year, The MoCo Show reported.
An opening date for the new Relax The Back store has not been provided, according to The MoCo Show.

Relax The Back was founded in 1984 by an osteopathic physician who wanted to make it easier for his patients to find the self-care products necessary to relieve their neck and back pain, according to the company's website. The company began franchising in 1989 with the support of the medical community behind it.
