Rockville College Students Graduate, Earn Degrees From Their Schools

Patch recognizes the students from the Rockville area who earned degrees during the spring semester at their college or university.

ROCKVILLE, MD — To shine a light on their academic achievements, Patch shares information provided by Merit News about students from the Rockville area who earned a degree or graduated at the end of the spring 2023 term.

Julie R. Kilmer of Rockville was among the more than 850 members of The University of Scranton's class of 2023 who were awarded bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 21 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre.

Erina Iwasa of Rockville received a bachelor of science degree from Harvey Mudd College on May 14. Iwasa majored in engineering and graduated with high distinction. Iwasa attended Winston Churchill High School.

Bryn Schoen of Rockville received a bachelor of science degree from Harvey Mudd College on May 14. Schoen majored in engineering and graduated with high distinction. Schoen attended Richard Montgomery High School.

Katheryn Wang of Rockville received a bachelor of science degree from Harvey Mudd College on May 14. Wang completed a double major in engineering and history and graduated with distinction. Wang attended Montgomery Blair High School.

Maya Clara Giro of Rockville was among the more than 7,000 students who recently participated in commencement exercises as members of the University of Georgia's Class of 2023. Giro earned a master of arts degree in journalism and mass communication.

Anna Caroline Stewart of Rockville was among the more than 7,000 students who recently participated in commencement exercises as members of the University of Georgia's Class of 2023. Stewart earned earned an MACC degree in accounting.
