Rockville Financial Advisor Joins NAPFA Public Policy Committee

ROCKVILLE, MD — Clark Kendall, the president and CEO of Rockville's Kendall Capital, recently joined the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors' Public Policy Committee, according to a release.

The 10-member committee develops NAPFA's positions regarding legislative and regulatory issues that impact the fee-only financial planning community. It then distributes these positions to NAPFA's members, the media, consumers and policymakers.

“The integrity of financial professionals is crucial to Americans’ ability to achieve their financial goals and build wealth,” Kendall said, in a release. “I’m proud to be part of NAPFA’s efforts to maintain the highest professional standards and influence policy in ways that benefit financial consumers.”

With more than 30 years of experience in investment and wealth management, Kendall founded Kendall Capital in 2005. A member of the Washington Society of Chartered Financial Analysts, he previously was the equity seat holder on the New York Stock Exchange. From 1999 to 2004, he was the chief investment officer at Potomac Asset Management. Prior to that, Kendall worked for Pell Rudman Trust Companyserved as vice president, investment committee member and portfolio manager.

A frequent commentator on financial and economic issues, Kendall has been quoted by The Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, USA Today, Fortune and CNBC. He is also the author of Middle-Class Millionaire and Middle-Class Millionaire Women with Carol Petrov.
