Rockville Mid-Sized Employer Ranks Among America's Best On Forbes List

ROCKVILLE, MD — Westat, which has its headquarters in Rockville, was recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of America's Best Mid-Sized Employers.

The business magazine partnered with the market research firm Statista to compile the ranking, based on a survey of about 45,000 workers at companies and institutions with 1,000-5,000 employees.

They were asked questions such as whether they would recommend their current workplace to family or friends and were also given the chance to cite other employers they would recommend. The 500 mid-sized employers on the list are those that received the most recommendations.

Westat, which provides professional services to help its customers improve outcomes in health, education, social policy, and transportation, is listed #402 among the 500 mid-sized businesses. The full list of 500 mid-sized companies is available online.

This isn't the first time Westat has appeared on one of Forbes Magazine's "best" lists. In 2022, it was included among America's Best Employers By State and ranked #219 on the Best Employers for Women list.
