'A Star Is Born' Returns To Theaters: Watch It In Rockville Area

'A Star Is Born' is back in theaters for one week only. Here's where you can see it in the Rockville area.

ROCKVILLE, MD — "A Star is Born," the Oscar-nominated film starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, is returning to theaters and will feature 12 additional minutes of never-been-seen footage, Warner Brothers said.

The encore version of the film returns to theaters for just one week starting March 1. The additional footage includes extended performances of songs in the movie like "Black Eyes," "Alibi" and, of course, "Shallow," which received the Oscar for best original song at the 2019 Academy Awards.

Directed by Cooper, the movie tells the story of Jack and Ally.

"Cooper portrays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers and falls in love with struggling artist Ally," Warner Brothers says in its description of the film. "She has given up on her dream to become a successful singer, until she meets Jack, who immediately sees her natural talent."

The movie is playing at Regal Rockville Center Stadium 13 in Rockville. It's also playing at AMC Dine-In Rio Cinemas 18 in Gaithersburg, ArcLight Cinemas in Bethesda, Regal Majestic Stadium 20 & IMAX in Silver Spring, and Regal Germantown Stadium 14 in Germantown.

Both Gaga and Cooper received Oscar nominations for the movie, which was also nominated for best picture. The pair also gave a powerful performance of "Shallow" at the 91st Academy Awards that you can watch below:
