Video Released Of 6 Suspects In Persei Place Shooting: Police

ROCKVILLE, MD — Investigators on Wednesday released images of six men in their 20s or 30s who are believed to have fired gunshots that struck two buildings in Rockville.

Detectives investigating the shooting that occurred March 8 in the 900 block of Persei Place in Rockville have released surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

About 12:30 a.m. on March 8, police were called to a shooting at the site, where officers found shell casings and saw two businesses were struck by gunfire.

Footage from surveillance cameras in the area helped police gain a description of six suspects they believe were involved in the shooting.

The first suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s or 30s, armed with a handgun, wearing a black ski mask, a long, dark-colored jacket, black pants and dark-colored shoes.

The second suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s or 30s, heavy set, wearing a gray beanie, gray sweater, gray sweatpants and white/gray shoes.

The third suspect is described as Black male, in his 20s or 30s, with short black hair and a beard, wearing a tan jacket, a white shirt, light blue jeans and white/blue shoes.

The fourth suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s or 30s, with black short locs, wearing a black beanie with white stripes, a black hooded sweatshirt with pink/gray writing on the front and back, light blue jeans and white shoes.

The fifth suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s or 30s, wearing a black beanie with a white spider web design, a tan hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The sixth suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s or 30s, with black hair, some facial hair, wearing a yellow hat, a blue jacket, a shoulder bag, a white shirt, tan pants and white shoes.

Detectives would also like to identify and speak with persons of interest shown in the surveillance video who may have information about the shooting.
