Washington Redskins Vs Pittsburgh Steelers: Parking, Metro, Traffic Info Via Twitter

The Redskins will take on the Steelers at FedEx Field in a Monday night matchup -- here's what you need to know before you go.

LANDOVER, MD — Are you ready for some football? The Washington Redskins kick off their season Monday night at FedEx Field, where they will face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If you've managed to snag some tickets, arm yourself with the following information before you head to the stadium.

Parking: You can either prepay for a permit for parking or pay in cash when you get there, although prepaying is usually the better option and it will speed the time between you getting to the field and actually parking your car. You can get a permit from the FedEx Field ticket office, which is valid for one parking space per event. For those who bought club seats and those who have suite season ticket packages, the parking permits are included.

Metro: The better option may be to Metro. The nearest Metro station is the Morgan Boulevard station on the Silver or Blue lines. It is about a mile walk from the stadium, and there is a pedestrian walkway that offers direct access to the stadium, according to WMATA. You can also go to the Largo Town Center station, which is also about a mile from the stadium. Just follow the long line of Redskins fans when you arrive to get to the stadium.
