Wind Warning

As of 4:54 a.m., wind warnings are in effect in both directions on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/US-50, according to WTOP Traffic. High profile vehicles are advised to use caution. [Chesapeake Bay Bridge, MD]

On The Road

As of 7:33 a.m., a crash on MD-650/New Hampshire Avenue near Quebec Street was affecting traffic in both directions, according to WTOP Traffic. [Silver Spring, MD]

As of 7:28 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported in the roadway, affecting traffic in both directions on Pennylvania Avenue at Forestville Road, according to MDOT. [Forestville, MD]

As of 7:10 a.m., the westbound-shoulder of MD-108 West between Middle Patuxent Court and Sheppard Lane is closed, according to MDOT. [Clarksville, MD]

As of 7:07 a.m., the westbound-right traffic lane, right shoulder and the eastbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane of MD-501 from Sargent Road to 15th Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Hyattsville, MD]

As of 6:48 a.m., the two left westbound lanes on I-695 at the exit for M Street, Southeast are blocked due to a vehicle crash, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. [Washington, DC]

As of 6:47 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound US-29 before MD-198, according to WTOP Traffic. Vehicles are able to get by in the left lane. [Burtonsville, MD]

As of 6:43 a.m., debris was reported in the roadway of US-40 East at Hawbottom Road, according to MDOT. [Gambrill State Park, MD]

As of 6:36 a.m., the southbound-left shoulder of I-95 South before the exit to southbound MD-152/Mountain Road are closed due to a three-vehicle collision, according to MDOT. [Clayton, MD]

As of 5:33 a.m., a crash is impacting traffic in both directions on Seven Locks Road at Democracy Boulevard, according to WTOP Traffic. [North Bethesda, MD]

Ongoing Closures:

The northbound-shoulder and two right traffic lanes of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

Both the southbound-traffic lanes and shoulder of MD-70 South between Calvert Street and College Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Annapolis, MD]

Both northbound-shoulders and traffic lanes of MD-151 North between Sparrows Point and Wharf Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

Westbound-right off-ramp from MD-725 West at John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

The northbound-left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

Eastbound shoulder, traffic lane and center turn lane of MD-648 East between Kuethe Road and Governor Ritchie Highway are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Mass Transit

Light Rail will be single-tracking trains from Lutherville to Woodberry stops due to scheduled track maintenance. Customers may experience a 20-minute delay, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

DC Weather

Skies over the Baltimore-Washington region are expected to be partly sunny on Thursday, with a high of 68 and a low of 48, according to the National Weather Service.

Clear skies were reported over Silver Spring, with a temperature of 52 degrees, around 7:43 a.m., on Thursday, according to the AccuWeather forecast.
