Popular food truck Trippy Tacos announced it plans to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Silver Spring on July 8.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Popular food truck Trippy Tacos announced it plans to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Silver Spring next month.
According to Trippy Tacos, it will be the food truck's first ever stand-alone restaurant.
The restaurant will be located at 12134 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring.

The grand opening will take place Friday, July 8 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 9 at 11:30 a.m., The Moco Show reported.
In addition to specializing in fresh corn tortillas, Trippy Tacos is known for its tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, nachos, fries, mulitas, pupusa pizza, breakfast and more.

Chris Robles, Trippy Tacos' founder and owner, told WTOP that he has plans to add other restaurants in the DMV in the future.
