MASSACHUSETTS — March Madness has brought plenty of upsets, storylines and, probably, drink sales for bars, to the United States.

The Final Four is set to continue that narrative on Saturday, and local alumni from the four schools competing will get together to take in the competition.

One of the great joys for those who choose to watch games outside the home is finding an environment filled with people who care deeply about a team. With that in mind, Patch has compiled a quick list of bars that will host watch parties for alumni.

For those seeking out more general viewing environments, Provincetown Brewing is the self-proclaimed home of the women's tournament, while Skybokx 109 in Natick is serving up wings, pizza and drinks for the men's and women's tournament games.

Here's where school-centric watch parties are scheduled in Massachusetts:

Alabama

Bama in Boston, an alumni group for the University of Alabama, will be out in full force at Dillon's in Boston for the Crimson Tides Final Four matchup against Connecticut.

Connecticut

UConn is the overall favorite to win the national title and also features the last remaining Massachusetts local competing for the championship. West End Johnnie's in Boston is set to host a watch party, though it appears registration is necessary.

North Carolina State

The upstart favorite Wolfpack face off against Purdue, meaning fans get the DJ Burns Jr.-Zach Edey matchup many fans have been waiting for. NC State's Boston alumni network will have a presence at The Warehouse Bar and Grille in Boston for the game.

Purdue

The other side of the Burns-Edey matchup, and the favorites to attempt a UConn takedown, the Boilermakers are hoping to turn years of disappointment into sheer joy this weekend.

In what has the potential to be an electric environment at Purdue watch parties across the country, Boston-area Boilermakers are set to gather at Hurricane's at the Garden on Saturday.
