MASSACHUSETTS — Welcome to Patch's weekly round up of food and restaurant news in Massachusetts, where we review openings, closings and more in the state's dining scene.

The top story this week is the opening of the new Cold Harbor Brewing taproom in Westborough. The 8-year-old brewery has been operating from a very small space in the bottom floor of a commercial building since 2015. The brewery had no room for food service, and didn't even have enough room for canning — despite being in wide distribution across the state.

The new 8,000 square-foot brewery — built from the ground up over the past year — open off of Route 9 along Otis Street Friday afternoon, with a more full opening on Saturday at 11 a.m. The new space will offer food and plenty of space to roam, including a large patio.

In other brewing news, Worcester's Greater Good Imperial Brewing, the only all-imperial brewer in the U.S., inked a new partnership with the Worcester Palladium. Greater Good will now be available on draft trailer at all outdoor shows at the Palladium this season.

And Mashpee-based Cape Cod Coffee will release a new coffee style in honor of Rick and Dick Hoyt ahead of the Aug. 20 ASICS Falmouth Road Race. Proceeds from the brew will go toward the groundbreaking duo's nonprofit, the Hoyt Foundation.
