MASSACHUSETTS — Welcome to Patch's weekly round up of food and restaurant news in Massachusetts, where we review openings, closings and more in the state's dining scene.

This week, we learned that prolific restaurateur Nick Harron is set to open his third restaurant in 11 years with REV Burger in North Beverly. The menu includes an array of burgers, sandwiches, snacks and waffle fries along with beer and cocktails.

Popular New England brunch spot The Friendly Toast has also shifted some management positions.

Officials announced Tuesday that Staci Pinard, who has been with the company for about a decade, starting as the general manager of the company’s Cambridge location, has been named CEO. She was previously vice president of restaurant operations.

Justin Fischer, the previous director of culinary operations, has been promoted to vice president of culinary operations. He joined the company in 2021 after working at “multiple multi-unit restaurants around the Boston area,” according to the company.
