ACTON, MA – Everyone in the community is invited to attend Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Acton for Christmas Eve services at 4 PM and 7 PM —“The King’s Christmas: The King is Born!”. Staffed nursery is available during both services.
No one puts a king on their wish list for Christmas. New phones, new TV, new toys, new car, now that’s a Christmas for most Bostonians! Why do you need a king at Christmas? King Jesus has come because He cares for each and every man, woman, and child, both those in his kingdom and those who have yet to come into it. The King has come because of your real needs: your need to be loved, your need to be saved, your need to be rescued, your need to be given a future and a hope and peace that will, like the kingdom, have no end. King Jesus is God’s promised greater king whose kingdom will have no end. Join us as we rejoice together and worship the King of kings!
First, experience a joyful Christmas Eve service that feels more like first-century shepherds worshipping outdoors at 4 PM. Come early at 3:40 PM to enjoy seasonal music before the service. This will be a family-friendly outdoor service with Christmas carols, a beautiful Christmas tree, and an oversized Nativity. Children and families come together to celebrate Christmas at a fun, socially distant experience where everyone gets to be an angel, sing carols, and receive a joyful message!

For those who like a warmer worship experience, Mt. Calvary’s spectacular and festive indoor candlelight service will be at 7 PM with solo instruments, Joyful Praise Choir, bells and organ. We are blessed to have several guest professional musicians along with our very own talented ones and we look forward to praising the birth of Christ and celebrating together! Be sure to come early at 6:30 PM for a special pre-service concert in the sanctuary.
Mt. Calvary is located at 472 Massachusetts Avenue in Acton. Parking is available off Prospect Street. Handicap parking is available at the Massachusetts Ave. circle drive and the Prospect St. parking lot. Overflow parking is available in the Acton Funeral Home parking lot right next door.
