Arlington Greek Festival Returns In June

The weekend-long festival, featuring traditional Greek food and music, will return to Saint Athanasius Greek Orthodox Church in June.

ARLINGTON, MA – The Arlington Greek Festival is set to return to Saint Athanasius Greek Orthodox Church in June.

The weekend-long festival will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 9 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 11 at the Saint Athanasius Greek Orthodox Church, located at 4 Appleton St.

There is no admission fee and the venue is handicapped-accessible.

A selection of Greek wines and beers will also be offered to pair with your meal.

Greek musical talents will also be provided by parishioner expertise all under the big tent. Kefi Sounds, Apollo Sounds, Salonika Boys, and DJs from web radio station Kefi FM will complete your Greek weekend with live Bouzouki music Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 5 p.m. courtesy of the Grecian Trio. Also in the evening, you can also enjoy the experience of Greek regional dancing courtesy of The Sons and Daughters of Alexander the Great.

Since 1964, Saint Athanasius the Great Greek Orthodox Church has been a fixture in the Arlington area, actively serving the needs of the community through fundraisers, charity drives, and weekly Sunday Divine Liturgies which are open to all.
