Arlington Resident Competing On 'Survivor'

ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington resident is among 18 castaways on the latest season of the long-running reality series "Survivor."

Evvie Jagoda is a 28-year-old PhD student competing for the $1 million prize on the 41st season, which was shot in Fiji and delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Jagoda's hobbies include cooking, biking and other outdoor activities like hiking, camping and swimming in ponds, according to her bio. She describes herself as "extroverted, enthusiastic, smart."

The latest season debuted Sept. 22. So far, three contestants have been voted off, while Jagoda remains.

She says her strategy will be "staying close to the center of power, but never directly perceived as the one making the calls," according to her bio.
