ARLINGTON, MA – Arlington’s Spy Pond Playground and Parmenter Playground officially opened on May 1, after a yearlong renovation.

The project began in early August 2022 to replace the old equipment with two new playground sets, two spring riders, a playhouse with musical panels, a group seesaw and a four-bay swing set.

The renovation contract was awarded to Rae Contracting who recently renovated both the playgrounds at Hardy, Peirce, and Parmenter Schools. This project was funded through the Community Preservation Act.
