ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin its annual town-wide fall street sweeping program on Monday, Oct. 31.

Crews will start with route one and go in numerical order until finished. Depending on the weather, a town-wide sweep typically takes 8-10 weeks to complete.

DPW crews are currently out testing sweepers and sweeping some of the heavy areas and will continue over the next few weeks. They will go back through these routes when their route is scheduled during the official sweep.
