24th Annual Arlington Trivia Bee -- hosted by Arlington Education Foundation

March 17th from 3-5pm at Town Hall

Each Trivia Bee team consists of three adults who compete under a team name and may don creative hats or a team costume. Nearly thirty teams -- made up of friends, neighbors, elected officials, school groups or community organizations -- face off in multiple rounds of trivia questions on sports, literature, history, current events, music, science, and local lore.

To enter, form a team of three adult contestants and submit the registration form found at www.aefma.org/triviabee. There is a $75 entry fee/team, though Arlington teachers participate for free! All proceeds help to sustain the Arlington Education Foundation’s work supporting students and teachers in Arlington. Adult team registration deadline is March 12th.

Once again, the 2019 Trivia Bee will include teams of three fifth-graders from each elementary school who will compete in their own round to kick off the afternoon’s event. Parents may register their fifth graders at www.aefma.org/triviabee. Questions may be sent to [email protected]. The deadline to register fifth-graders is March 8th.

The 2019 Trivia Bee will feature the talented Todd Bearson on the piano, and Irwin Grossman will be the lively MC. This year’s judges include Kathleen Bodie, Superintendent of Arlington Public Schools; Kevin Flood, Assistant Director of the Arlington Boys & Girls Club; and Diane Welch, Arlington Animal Control Officer. The kids activities will feature a presentation by Curious Creatures.
