Arlington's Tango Restaurant Closing After 18 Years

The team behind the Arlington Center mainstay said the last few months have been "difficult in so many ways."

ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington Center restaurant known for its Argentinian cuisine is closing after nearly 20 years. The team behind Tango Restaurant announced on Facebook Monday that June 28 will be its last day of business.

"These last few months have been difficult in so many ways," the post stated. "But our hearts were filled by the outpouring of support from our customers, and the dedication and perseverance of our staff."

Alissa Mermet, who runs the restaurant for her parents, Ricardo and Nancy Mermet, wrote that she hopes to one day "bring it all to life again."
