Del's Lemonade Opens In Arlington

Originally slated to open this spring, the Rhode Island-based frozen lemonade company debuted its Mass. Ave. shop Tuesday.

ARLINGTON, MA — A popular frozen lemonade company opened its second Boston-area outpost in Arlington Tuesday.

Del's Lemonade opened its doors at 11 a.m., according to a message from the business.

The shop, located at 1050 Massachusetts Ave., operates through a walk-up window and features Del's famous frozen lemonade, as well as ice cream, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn and "fair-style" food and sweets.

Del's was founded in Cranston, RI in 1948 and mainly has locations in Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts. Its only other greater Boston location is in Cohasset.

The Arlington shop was originally expected to open in the spring but faced delays due to construction and permitting, Patch partner YourArlington reported.
