April 17 No Trash and Recycling Collection
One-day delay rest of week.

No trash will be collected on Monday in observance of the holiday. There will be a one-day delay in trash collection the remainder of the week. Friday’s collection will be collected on Saturday. Additional trash and recycling information may be found at arlingtonma.gov/recycle.

April 17 All Town Administrative Offices, Robbins Library Closed
This includes the following Town Offices:
- Town Hall, 730 Mass. Ave.
- Senior Center, 27 Maple St.
- Recreation Office, 422 Summer Street
- DPW Administrative, 51 Grove St.
- Inspectional Services, 51 Grove St.
- APD Records Room, 112 Mystic St.
- Fire Administrative, 411 Mass. Ave.

April 17 Cyrus Dallin Art Museum Hosts Patriots Day Celebration
The program starts with an explanation of the times in 1775/76, followed by a reading of Longfellow’s poem, The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, the story of the Battle of Menotomy, Cyrus Dallin’s response to Longfellow, and the 57-year journey to get the Paul Revere statue erected in Boston. The Cyrus Dallin Art Museum will host a Patriots Day celebration on Monday, April 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Whittemore Park (corner of Massachusetts Ave. and Mystic Street). April 17 Meet the Lancers
Sponsored by the Arlington Committee on Tourism and Economic Development (ATED).
On Monday, April 17, at Arlington Town Hall beginning at 11:00 a.m., Arlington is holding a celebration on Patriots’ Day to greet National Lancers riders reenacting Paul Revere and Williams Dawes’s famous ride warning, “The Regulars are out!” While awaiting the riders, you’re invited to join the activities – crafts, snacks, and a scavenger hunt.
