Power Outage In Arlington: More Than 400 Without Power Tuesday Evening

By 4:30 p.m. more than 400 addresses were reportedly without power ahead of the storm. Power was back by 7: 15 p.m.

ARLINGTON, MA — Update: Some 430 addresses were reporting they are without power in Arlington by 4:30 Tuesday evening, according to Eversource. A statewide hazardous weather outlook has been issued by the National weather Service and alerts are going out on cell phones in the area warning folks about flash floods ahead of a storm that is expected to roll in tonight and tomorrow. The storm, Patch reported earlier is supposed to bring with it hefty gusts of winds, so batten down the hatches, folks.

Eversource is reporting that out of the 1,153,912 customers it has in the eastern part of the state only 1,001 are without power. Boston has four reported outages. But right now it looks like Arlington wins the award for most outages followed by Watertown with 280. At 4:30 p.m.

Power to all but one address was back by 7 p.m. And the power outages seemed to have migrated to Ashland.
