The town of Arlington is completing the one-year annual action plan for the town’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

In order to receive CDBG funds, the annual action plan must meet the primary objective of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, which seeks to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities for low and moderate income people, and include stakeholder consultation.
