Beverly Compost Program Now Open To All Residents

After a successful pilot, Beverly's curbside compost program is going citywide.

BEVERLY, MA – Pre-registration is now open for Beverly's newly minted curbside compost program. According to the city, pre-registration doesn't bind residents to enroll in the program, but helps the city's Waste Reduction Committee to estimate a cost per household.

The registration form notes that more than 350 households participated in the two-year curbside compost pilot program. Due to the success of the pilot, all Beverly residents can now sign up for the program. Renters, homeowners, and condo owners are all invited to sign up.

The program cost will depend on how many people sign up: The more participants there are, the lower the cost will be.
