Beverly Fire Seeks Tips On Swiped Defibrillator On The Loose

BEVERLY, MA — The Beverly Fire Department is looking to retrieve a defibrillator on the loose after a woman was photographed walking away with the medical device that came free from a storage cabinet on Engine 1 late last month.

Beverly fire said that on March 30 the defibrillator was lost at the intersection of Cabot and Edward streets.

They said a photograph from the area showed a woman with the item in hand walking down Cabot Street toward the bridge.

"If you can help us identify this person, we would like to get this piece of equipment back," Beverly fire said.

Anyone with information on the woman or the whereabouts of the defibrillator is asked to contact Beverly fire at 978-922-2424.
