Beverly Football Boosters To Host Annual Golf Tournament

BEVERLY, MA — Again this year, the biggest Beverly High School football fundraiser of the year will be back on the greens of the Beverly Golf & Tennis Club. The boosters invite alumni, friends, and the greater Beverly community to take part and help support the football program while having a great day!

The Roy C. Norden Golf Tournament will take place on Aug. 14 to support vital program needs. Fundraising raised directly supports the high school football program through:

• Annual scholarships for student-athletes
• Banquet Expenses, Banquet Awards & Gifts
• End of Camp Cook Out & Beginning of Season Celebration
• Pre-Game Training Table Items
• Hudl software for Coaches & Players
• Coach Staff Clinics
• Swag, Gifts, and Other Activities Through the Season

Alysha Monfette, this year’s boosters president said, “The pandemic made it difficult to fundraise at the level the boosters have in the past, which means we are working extra hard this year to rebuild vital funds that directly support the football program. A big part of that effort is our golf tournament. Plus, it’s a great day to reconnect with alumni, friends and have a whole lot of fun.”

The Beverly Football Boosters are seeking golfers as well as sponsors for this year's event. Business sponsorship includes many great advertising opportunities and of course, bragging rights that you are part of supporting the youth of Beverly. Some sponsorship levels even include a scholarship in your or your business’s name.

The price to join as a golfer is $175 per golfer and a special rate of $145 for alumni from 2018 through 2022 seasons. The event is a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
