Beverly Hospital Gets Straight A's In Safety Rating

For the sixth year in a row, Beverly Hospital got all A's as part of a safety grade.

BEVERLY, MA – Beverly Hospital is one of 63 hospitals nationwide to have gotten an "A" safety rating from the Leapfrog Group every year since the group's inception.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.

"We are honored to receive an 'A' grade for the sixth consecutive year," said Phil Cormier, CEO of Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals in a statement. "This recognition is a reflection of our commitment to patient safety and quality. All of our colleagues strive every day to ensure that our efforts to prioritize and improve patient safety processes continually improve as we work to deliver the highest quality patient care."
