'Holiday Stroll' A Chance To Boost Beverly Small Businesses

The downtown shopping, dining and season socializing event is set for Friday from 4 to 9 p.m.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents are invited to spend this Friday night downtown in the spirit of the season as part of the "Holiday Stroll" to give the city's small businesses a boost.

Nearly three dozen businesses, breweries, cafes and restaurants will have pop-ups, specials and unique decorations for the occasion with a limited number of special holiday totes and stickers with designs from local artist Kat Maus available at select locations.

The Holiday Stroll is set to run from 4 to 8 p.m.

Residents can get a Holiday Stroll Passport to be entered into a special raffle. Each purchase at a participating business will get you a passport stamp and entry into the raffle. Filling out the passport will result in an extra entry.

Those participating can then turn in their passport by Dec. 15 at Say Much Brighter at 285 Rantoul Street with the drawing held on Dec. 16.

Friday will also be the first day of free parking in downtown Beverly at select public lots through Christmas Day. Residents and visitors can park in the Green, Blue (Public Parking Lots), and Purple zones — see the map here — for free from Dec. 9 through Dec. 24.

Parking limitations will be enforced in the Red zone. Residents who live in the Red Zone with resident parking permits can also get up to three two-day temporary guest parking passes per month for their holiday guests.
