Obituary: Jean B. (Lobb) Keating, Longtime Resident of Beverly

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Jean B. (Lobb) Keating, 89, beloved wife of the late Norman L. Keating, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 19, 2015. Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie (Robinson) Lobb.

A resident of Beverly for the past sixty years, Mrs. Keating dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are two daughters, Janice Collins of Danvers and Karen Goodwin and her husband, Peter of Danvers, a son, Norman R. Keating and his wife, Lorrie of Beverly, six grandchildren, Michael Collins and his wife, Melissa, Kristin Latulippe and her husband, Brian, Melissa Calder and her husband, Brian, Jennifer Pelletier and her husband, Chris, Melinda Cripps and her husband, Brendan and Justin Keating and his wife, Katie, great grandmother of eleven, sister of Donald Lobb of Peabody, two sisters-in-law, Gladys Keating and Marie Keating both of Peabody and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. She was also the sister of the late Irene Slingsby and George Lobb.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
