Middlesex County DA: Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Framingham

FRAMINGHAM - Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Chief of Police Lester Baker have confirmed the ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred early this
morning on Hayes Street in Framingham.

At approximately 1:19 a.m. Framingham Police received a 911 call reporting that a man had been
shot inside a Hayes Street residence. Upon arrival police located an adult male dead on scene with an apparent gunshot wound. Based on the preliminary information investigators do not believe this was a random attack. This is an active and ongoing investigation and no arrests have been made at this time. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
