Middlesex County DA: Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Malden

MALDEN - Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Chief of Police Kevin Molis have confirmed an ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred last night on Salem Street.

The preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 9:40 p.m. on November 20, the victim, a 22-year-old Boston man, was in front of the 7-11 convenience store on Salem Street when he had a brief interaction with multiple individuals. One of them then opened fire, striking the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There have not yet been any arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call Malden Police at 781-322-1212.
