CONCORD, MA — A woman was hit and killed by a commuter rail train in Concord Wednesday morning, police confirmed.

The unidentified woman was struck at the Belknap Street crossing area, and later Wednesday morning, police confirmed she did not survive.

All service on the Fitchburg Commuter Rail Line is currently stopped due to police activity. A spokesperson from the MBTA says an extra train will help pick up passengers between Concord and North Station.
