WEST BOYLSTON, MA — One of the largest and most studding mass daffodil blooms in Massachusetts will likely reach its peak this week.

The New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill's daffodil field was planted in 1991, and has only grown since. This year, more than 25,000 flowers will pop, with the botanic garden estimating this week to be the best time to see the blooms. The field features a variety of daffodil types, and the Rijnveld’s Early Sensation cultivar arrived first in March.

After you've seen the daffodils, there are also plenty of other types of flowers and trees blooming this month, including hyacinth, magnolia, trillium and multicolored hellebore. Find out what's blooming every month through autumn on the garden's website.

The botanic garden is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you don't catch the daffodils this week, they will likely remain in bloom until around May 1.
