St. John's Summer Camps Begin Enrollment For Summer 2024

SHREWSBURY, MA — Saint John's High School opened enrollment this week for its summer Camp St. John's programs, which include sessions with arts, academic and sports programs.

Saint John's High School is thrilled to announce this year’s much-anticipated Summer Programs and the re-introduction of Camp Saint John’s. These camps and programs are aimed at providing enriching and engaging experiences for Elementary, Middle, and High School boys and girls. From Academic programs to Athletics, and Arts, the summer offerings at Saint John's offer a diverse array of activities to suit every interest.

"We are excited to welcome campers to Saint John's High School this summer and provide them with a fun and enriching experience," say Program Directors Michael Hughes and Jim Kelly. "Our dedicated team of counselors and instructors is committed to ensuring that every camper has a memorable and rewarding summer anchored in fostering personal growth, cultivating leadership skills and creating lasting memories."

Camp Saint John's is a traditional style summer camp for boys and girls entering grades one through six, offering different themes for each week; while the general interest programs feature a wide range of activities tailored to different age groups and interests.

“The reintroduction of Camp Saint John’s is a wonderful way to open our campus and state of the art facilities to the greater community - expanding our connections beyond our enrolled students and families and creating opportunities for both boys and girls to learn and thrive here at Saint John’s,” notes Headmaster Alex Zequeira.

Academic programs offer opportunities for intellectual exploration and skill development, including STEM workshops, writing seminars, and college preparation courses.

Sports enthusiasts can participate in athletic camps led by experienced coaches, covering a variety of sports including basketball, soccer and baseball. Campers will receive expert instruction, improve their skills, and compete in friendly competitions, all while fostering a love for physical activity and teamwork.

In addition to academic and athletic pursuits, Summer Programs offers a vibrant arts program where campers can unleash their creativity through music, theater, and visual arts workshops. From music to producing theatrical performances, campers will have the opportunity to explore their artistic talents in a supportive and encouraging environment.
