White Christmas In Shrewsbury: 4-Day Weather Forecast

Intermittent snow is expected from Friday to Monday, meaning a rare Christmas snowfall could be in store.

SHREWSBURY, MA – Christmas weekend – Saturday especially – will be among the busiest shopping days of the year, and Mother Nature won't be taking it easy on you. The National Weather Service this week predicted a smattering of inconvenient winter weather through Saturday, followed by a peek of sun before snow Christmas Eve into Christmas morning.

Snow, mainly after 9am. High near 30. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Snow likely before 8pm, then freezing rain and sleet likely between 8pm and 11pm, then freezing rain likely after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northwest in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Saturday
Freezing rain likely before 2pm, then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Light and variable wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
