1 Charged After Sunday Waltham Stabbing

A Waltham man faces multiple charges after a stabbing on Adams Street. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

WALTHAM, MA — One person is in custody and another was taken to the hospital after a Sunday morning Waltham stabbing.

Police responded to 94 Adams St. on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. for a reported stabbing. Officers found the victim and provided first aid before he was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Thiago Oliveira, 33, was located shortly after and arrested. He is charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon and threats.

Oliveira is set to be arraigned in Waltham District Court on Monday.
