Boston Man Faces Drug, Gun Charges In Waltham Investigation

Police found cocaine and methamphetamine after a search warrant was executed on Waltham's Moody Street this week.

WALTHAM, MA — An ongoing narcotics investigation in Waltham resulted in charges against a Boston man this week.

Waltham police detectives executed search warrants in the area of 881 Moody St. around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, with the Boston man being placed into custody at the scene.

Officials searched the man's vehicle and his person, finding over 32 grams of substances believed to be cocaine and crack cocaine, over five grams of methamphetamine and multiple items related to narcotics distribution.

In addition to the drugs and distribution material, police said they found a loaded handgun.

He faces charges including cocaine trafficking, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, multiple firearms-related charges and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, police said.
