Winchester Forecast: Heavy Rains Projected Wednesday

The National Weather Service is projecting heavy rains and Strong winds Wednesday night into Thursday.

WINCHESTER, MA—Although temperatures may be a bit warmer this week than usual for February, sloppy weather is still coming our way.

The National Weather Service has released a hazardous weather outlook for Winchester which calls for heavy rain Wednesday night into Thursday. According to NWS, the rains could cause potential urban and poor drainage flooding.

In addition, strong southerly winds are possible. Winchester’s extended forecast currently calls for rain with thunderstorms possible after 8 p.m. Rainfall could total three quarters of an inch.

Wind gusts could reach as high as 32 miles per hour and there is a 90 percent chance of precipitation.
