Winchester Weather Alert: Winter Storm Warning In Effect
Rain is expected to change over to snow ahead of the Friday morning commute.
WINCHESTER, MA - It appears the groundhog was mistaken. Winchester is in for snow on Friday, and the worst of it is expected during the morning commute.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning to Southeast Middlesex county from 1 a.m to 3 p.m. Friday. The warning says that snow totals could reach between four and eight inches.
According to Weather.com, overnight rain will change over to snow around 4 a.m., Friday and continue throughout the commute and into the early afternoon.
