Winchester Weather: Will the Snow Melt?

A look at Winchester's extended forecast

WINCHESTER, MA—The kids were off school today due to the snowy conditions, and while significant accumulations aren’t expected for the rest of the week, we could be dealing with some more wintry weather in Winchester.

The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snow showers on both Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, accumulations may reach less than an inch on Tuesday and there is not projected to be any further accumulation Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Tuesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 30. North wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Wednesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Thursday: A chance of snow showers, mainly between 10am and 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 25.
