Winchester Winter Storm: Where's All the Snow?

The kids are at home, but there is little snow on the ground. Is it possible that the storm may have missed us?

WINCHESTER, MA—Winter Storm Mars is scheduled to hit Winchester, but as of 11 a.m., accumulations have been light.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning starting at 4 a.m. and one that will last until 7 p.m. With that in mind, is it possible that the storm may have missed us?

Not likely. According to Weather.com, residents should expect occasional snow over the next couple of hours. Chances of precipitation sit under 100 percent until 2 p.m. Seemingly, the snow will ramp up between 1 and 2 p.m.

Winds are projected to stay around 20 miles per hour throughout the day, and Snow is expected to stop at around 4 a.m. Residents can expect 5-8 inches during the day and 1-3 inches of snow in the evening.
