After a perfect weekend weather wise, more wet weather is on the way to start the work week.

Showers are expected to roll in Monday afternoon and Monday night. On Tuesday scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted all day and into the evening. But don’t fear - warm, summer weather returns on Wednesday.

Here’s a look at Winchester’s weather forecast for the upcoming week, according to the National Weather Service:

Monday: Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will give way to occasional showers in the afternoon with a high of 77. Expect showers Tuesday night with clearing overnight. Low of 62.

Tuesday: Tuesday brings scattered showers and thunderstorms with a high of 79. Scattered thunderstorms continue into the evening with clear skies overnight. Tuesday night’s low will be 59.

Wednesday: Things dry out on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and a high of 84 degrees. Expect mostly clear skies Wednesday night with a low of 61.

Next Weekend: Right now next weekend is shaping up to be a nice one with temperatures in the low 80s. There is the possibility of occasional rain showers Sunday night.
