Troy Community Chorus Presents Their Spring Concert "Lovely Days"

The Troy Community Chorus, under the direction of Jonathan Lowrie and accompanied by Min Sook Chung, will present their Spring Concert "Lovely Days" on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. at Athens High School located at 4333 John R Road in Troy.

The concert has a theme around nature, featuring classic pop songs such as "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers, "Good Day Sunshine" by the Beatles, and "Mr. Blue Sky" by the Electric Light Orchestra as well as choral classics such as John Rutter's "All Things Bright and Beautiful" and "For the Beauty of the Earth".

Advance tickets are $10 for patrons ages 13-62, $8 for seniors and children ages 6-12, and children under 5 are admitted free of charge. Tickets are also available at the door for $15 each.

The Troy Community Chorus, founded in 1978, is a non-audition choir consisting of 70+ members ages 24-85+ years old from across the metropolitan Detroit area.
