Several food companies have products that are subject to unrelated nationwide recalls because they contain peanut allergens that are not disclosed on the products’ labels.

No one has been sickened from eating any of the products, but people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

DL Jardine’s and Shotgun Willies Chili Products

Jardine Foods, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Chili Mix products because they may contain undeclared peanut proteins. The company was notified by a third-party supplier that one of the spice ingredients purchased contains peanut proteins, an allergen which is not declared on the products’ ingredient statement.

Affected products:

  • DL Jardine’s Texas Bag O’Fixins Kit in a white cloth bag; Consumer UPC 0 2253101880 4; 4.0 ounces (113g); best-by date 11/20/2016
  • DL Jrdine’s Texas Chili Works in brown and red cardboard box; Consumer UPC 0 22531 05250 3.0 ounces (85g); best-by date 11/20/2016
  • Shotgun Willie’s Texas Chili Seasoning in black and red cardboard box; 0 22531 50500 7; 3.1 ounces (88g); best-by date 09/15/16.

The recalled products were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through web orders.

Panko with Cumin

Adams Flavors, Foods & Ingredients of Gonzales, TX, is voluntarily recalling cumin products because they may contain undeclared peanut proteins.

Affected Products:

  • Private Selection Sweet Chipotle Panko Bread Crumbs; consumer UPC 1111085763; 8 ounces (226g); best-by date 8/22/15 – 12/23/15
  • Private Selection Chipotle Lime Tortilla Panko Breader, consumer UPC 1111078622; 8 OUNCES (226g); best-by date 9/23/15 – 12/23/15

Tommy’s Superfoods Santa Fe Rice

Ten BC LLC of Austin, TX, which is recalling 10-ounce packages of its Tommy’s Superfoods Santa Fe Rice, found in frozen foods sections, because they may contain undeclared peanuts the products were distributed nationwide in retail stores.

Affected Product:

  • Tommy’s Superfoods Santa Fe Rice; consumer UPC C091X4K17, best-by date 11/17/2015

Rockin’ Roasted Chicken Products

The recall by Campos Foods, LLC, of Caryville, TN, affects 5,300 pounds of chicken products due to misbranding and undeclared peanut allergens. The items were produced on Dce. 2, 2014.

Affected products:

  • Bulk boxes containing various weights of 90 pieces of “Rockin’ Roasted Roasted Chicken Drum & Thigh (with Back) – Smoke Flavor Added”
  • 16-lb. bulk boxes containing approximately 32 pieces of “Rockin’ Roasted Roasted Chicken Quarters – Smoke Flavor Added”.
