The Henry Ford in Dearborn offers its regular Ford Rouge Factory Tours at the museum, located at 20900 Oakwood Blvd. A regular weekend fixture is Tinker, Hack, Invent Saturdays, a weekly celebration of American ingenuity.

Participants join the Tinker Task Force and have a blast trying your hand at all sorts of things. Then, on the last Saturday of every month – and Feb. 28 is it – the museum opens doors to crafters, basement scientists, hobbyists, inventive foodies, tinkerers and asks them to share their expertise and enthusiasm with museum visitors.

Americans are famous for their ingenuity and resourcefulness, for their eagerness to improve and explore new ideas, and this is your chance to learn firsthand how that spirit is alive and well today.
