Tree Lighting Offers Fun For Entire Family

White Lake Township ceremony has new home and expanded offerings

The holiday season comes to White Lake Township Friday, Dec. 4 with the sixth annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

This year’s event has a new venue, however, according to township officials.

The event will take place at Fisk Farms, located at Fisk Corners, beginning at 7 p.m.

The ceremony is among the largest in Oakland County, and the effort is a group one between the township and the business community.

According to a release issued by the township, this year’s event is expected to be the biggest to date and jam-packed with activities for the entire family.

Among these are the following:

  • Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
  • Raffle.
  • Ice sculptures.
  • the White Lake Middle School choir performances of holiday favorites.
  • A Local dance company will perform.
  • Rochester College strolling carolers.
  • Crafts and cookie decorating.
  • Marshmallow roasting and s’mores.
  • Photos with the living nativity
