29-Year-Old Hit On Highway 5 During Blizzard Dies From Injuries

EDEN PRARIE, MN — A 29-year-old Eden Prairie woman has died of injuries she suffered in a crash during the April blizzard. On April 15, Jennifer Lynn Lovering was driving a Chevy Aveo west on Highway 5.

While east of Dell Road just before 7 p.m., the Aveo lost traction and spun out into the median facing north.

Lovering exited the car and began digging herself out of the ditch. At that time, an Acura RDX traveling west lost traction and collided with the Aveo, pinning Lovering.
