Driver Cited For Frosted Windshield In Eden Prairie

The driver nearly crashed into other vehicles on the road, authorities said.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — You probably don’t give much thought to your windshield — or the windshields of cars around you — on a daily basis. However, you'd certainly notice if a car near you had a windshield frosted or snowed over, preventing the driver from seeing you as they tried to change lanes.

Officers in Eden Prairie Friday morning say they witnessed exactly that. A car with a frosted windshield (seen in the photo above) nearly crashed into other vehicles on the road, authorities said.

Police cited the motorist for driving with a windshield covered with frost "to such an extent as to prevent proper vision" (MN Statute 169.71).
