Eden Prairie Community Center Fitness Area Is Reopening

The Aquatics Center, gymnasium and ice amenities will remain closed until further notice.

There will be no in-person fitness classes in accordance with the order, but virtual fitness classes are continuing as scheduled.

A few things will be different:

  • The facility will accommodate Community Center members only to ensure capacity limitations are adhered to.
  • Maximum capacity on the fitness floor will be only 25% because fitness equipment must now be spaced 12 feet apart.
  • Masks must be worn throughout the facility at all times — even when you are working out.

Saturday–Sunday, Dec. 19–20; 26–27
6 a.m.–2 p.m.

Monday–Wednesday, Dec. 21–23; 28–30
6 a.m.–7 p.m.

Dec. 24–25; 31
CLOSED

Jan. 1
10 a.m.–2 p.m.

As announced before closing the facility in November, members are not being charged for the month of December. Details about Community Center operations in January will be available soon.

Community Center staff continue to be diligent with sanitation practices, keeping the facility as safe as possible during this time. Those who do not yet feel comfortable with visiting the facility are welcome to sign up for a Virtual Membership to participate in live-streamed and on-demand group fitness classes.
