Girl, Woman Found Dead In Twin Cities Park, Boy Dies At Hospital

ANOKA COUNTY, MN — Authorities in Anoka County are investigating after a woman and girl were found dead inside a vehicle at a city park in Ramsey. A boy in the vehicle was found injured and later died.

On Monday at about 10 a.m., the Ramsey Police Department and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check request at Rum River Central Park.

At the scene, emergency responders found a woman and a girl dead in the parked SUV. A boy was found injured and transported to a local hospital where he was declared deceased.

"At this point in the investigation, this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the public," the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. "The investigation is ongoing."

The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting Ramsey Police and the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
